As the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, we are deeply saddened by the loss ouf our former dean Professor Sermin Tekinalp.
One of the former deans of the Art and Social Faculty of our university, who lost her life as a result of her illness, Professor Sermin Tekinalp was bid farewell to her last journey in her hometown of Sinop on Saturday, June 17th. Tekinalp, who played an active role in the establishment of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences of our university, was known as one of the important names in the field of communication. Tekinalp, who was the dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences between 2015-2021, made significant contributions to our university with her academic studies and vast experience during her tenure.
We are glad that our paths crossed with you and we had good memories, our teacher Sermin… We will always remember you with your strong character and grace… We thank you for your contribution to us… Sleep in light…
