The Sociology Department, which was established within the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences of Istanbul Esenyurt University, started its activities in the 2016-2017 academic year with its first spirit. It contains many courses covering the sub-branches of Sociology. Istanbul Esenyurt University Department of Sociology, which follows up-to-date care schools, constantly offers new and up-to-date courses.
Graduation Requirements
In order to graduate from this program, students; All courses, practices, internships and similar studies in the education plan must be completed with a minimum of (2.00), not the general average.
Occupational Profile of Graduates
Our department graduates, who have the title of sociologist, can make professional careers in many fields, from educational activities to media, from political research to advertising, from social services to human resources and public promotion, with the social field development skills they have acquired; They may have the opportunity to work in private and public settings.
Transition to Higher Degree Programs
Those who successfully use this department's undergraduate programs can apply to graduate programs in some other fields, such as their master's and/or doctoral skills. Candidates who give undergraduate education can be used in graduate programs related to taking the ALES exam that is not valid, having sufficient English language knowledge and succeeding in the science exam.
